Cape Creek Cottage is a luxury beach home situated in the Langezandt security estate in Struisbaai. Our large holiday home can accommodate 14 guests in 7 bedrooms, of which 3 rooms are private, adjoined cottages. A 5 minute stroll from the beach, Cape Creek is perfect for a family beach holiday or a getaway with friends. Our Cape Dutch style home offers old world charm with all the modern conveniences, being fully equipped with luxury appliances, even including a Nespresso coffee machine and a wine fridge. The smart TV in the living room has DSTV and Netflix, and there is WiFi throughout the home. Designed for inside/outside living, the double doors in the living room open up to the private courtyard, which has an amazing pergola braai area and seating for the whole family. The garage has been converted into an entertainment space, featuring a games room fitted with a dartboard, a TV, a pool table that can be converted into a table tennis table and, upstairs, a "cinema" loft with another TV and comfy couches. During the colder months, the indoor fireplace comes in handy, and each room has an extra set of blankets just in case. We've taken care to add all the necessities and many luxuries, and hope you'll enjoy our lovely holiday home as much as we do!

With seven bedrooms, five bathrooms, and an open-plan living area, you can easily fit the whole family in one place. The walled courtyard offers a place for the kids to play while the adults bask in the sun or enjoy a proper South African braai under the pergola. Having three young kids of our own, the home is kitted with kids' books and tableware, in addition to all the crockery, baking dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utilities you'll need, when cooking for a large group. We offer discounted booking rates for groups of less than 12 guests, if the group won't make use of one or more of the adjoining cottages. All three of the cottages are on the same property as the main house, and each features a queen bed and en suite bathroom. The main house has 4 bedrooms, and can be booked on its own for groups of up to 8 guests. Whatever the size of your group, you'll have the whole property to yourself during your stay.

Located in the Langezandt security estate, our beautiful holiday home offers proximity to the beach and plenty of entertainment space. Struisbaai is the perfect destination for a relaxing holiday, with its idyllic beaches and charming local restaurants. The town is located near the Southern tip of Africa and has a rich history as a historical fishing village. The area saw many ships wrecked on its coast before the famous lighthouse was built. The L'Agulhas Lighthouse was declared a National Monument around 50 years ago and has been renovated into a museum, open to visitors. Struisbaai' main beach is a popular spot for swimming, sunbathing, and beach walks, with a 14 kilometre stretch of white sandy beach to explore along the coast. There are also plenty of activities available in the area, from whale watching, to fishing, and nature walks. Cape Creek Cottage is the perfect place to stay while exploring the beauty of Struisbaai. Our holiday home is situated in a secure and tranquil environment, while still being close to the beach, local shops, and all the activities available in the area.

Activities and Attractions in Struisbaai and Cape Agulhas
Struisbaai is a coastal town in the Cape Agulhas area, known for its good fishing spots and great beach. Struisbaai, and its neighbouring town of L'Agulhas, have long been a popular holiday destinations for many families, as well as weekend getaways for groups of friends. The main beach is good for swimming and other beach activities, like kite surfing, boating, windsurfing, or just taking a walk down the impressively long beach. Fishermen, both locals and visitors, frequent the harbour wall and Langezandt beach, and you'll be able to order freshly caught fish (catch of the day) at many of the local restaurants. During the later half of the year, whales can typically be seen from the beach, and many visit Struisbaai for the purpose of whale watching. If you’re looking for a unique experience, you can visit the nearby wine farms and taste some of the local wines. You can also take a day trip to the nearby towns of L’Agulhas and Bredasdorp and explore the historical sites and monuments, as well as the local shops.
