Cape Creek Cottage is a large holiday home situated in the Langezandt security estate in Struisbaai. Our home can accommodate 14 guests, and is a 5 min stroll to the beach. Offering old world charm with all the modern conveniences, there are three TVs, with DSTV and Netflix, a sound system in the main house, and WiFi. Our fully equipped kitchen features a luxury SMEG oven and gas stovetop, as well as a large fridge and an additional wine fridge to keep your drinks cold. Guests can enjoy a summer breeze by opening the double doors in the living room, which lead to the courtyard with an amazing pergola braai area and outdoor seating for the whole family. During winter, the indoor fireplace is sure to keep you warm while you relax on the comfortable couches in the living room.

Relaxing Beach Holiday Home
Our holiday home is located in a prominent security estate in Struisbaai, within walking distance of the stunning Langezandt beach. Cape Creek Cottage has been lovingly furnished with comfy couches and the finest bedding and linen. Our kitchen is likely more equipped than most primary residences, featuring integrated appliances and all you need to cook up meals for a large group of friends and family. All the bedrooms and bathrooms have recently been renovated, and our home is equipped with towels, extra blankets, and bathroom necessities for guests to use during their stay. A recent addition to our home is the games room, with a pool table, dartboard, and two additional TVs. We very much look forward to hosting many new and returning guests at Cape Creek Cottage, and hope that you will enjoy our holiday home as much as we do.
MAIN HOUSE
Fully Equipped Kitchen · Living Room · 4 Bedrooms
Kitchen
The open-plan kitchen and dining area features a large, solid wood dining table. We've equipped the kitchen with top quality appliances, including a dishwasher, luxury oven with a gas stovetop, large refrigerator, wine fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, and Nespresso coffee machine. Our kitchen is equipped with all the utensils, pots, pans, and tableware you'll need, including braai utensils, serving dishes, and kids' tableware. The washing machine is located in the garage (now the games room).
Living Room
In the living room, a brand new flat screen TV, with DSTV and Netflix, will ensure you are entertained, and the indoor fireplace will keep you warm on colder evenings. The sound system can be connected to the TV or another device via bluetooth, and wifi is available throughout the home. The comfy couches will allow you to relax while you plan more days of adventure in Cape Agulhas.
Master Bedroom
Our Master Bedroom is in the main house. This room features a queen bed and en suite bathroom with a shower. Clothing storage space with hangers is hidden behind a curtain, keeping the room tidy. The bed frame is of a beautiful wood with matching bedside tables, and the room has a courtyard facing window.
Second Bedroom
The second bedroom in the main house is on the opposite side as the Master bedroom. This room features a queen bed and closet space with clothing hangers and shelves. The room has a front facing window and is opposite the entryway to the courtyard. The main house bathroom is right next to this room, and is shared with the guests staying in the upstairs bedrooms.
Upstairs Rooms
Upstairs in the main house, there are two further bedrooms with two twin beds each. Each room has clothing storage end shelves, and there is a bookshelf with children's books and boardgames. The beds in the furthest room can be pushed together, making one double bed. These bedrooms share the main house bathroom with the second bedroom. Please be careful when climbing the stairs, as they are quite steep.
PRIVATE COTTAGES
3 Luxury Cottages with En Suite Bathrooms
Cottage 1
Cottage 1, or the fifth bedroom, is one of the three cottages on the property, accessed from the courtyard. Walking from the main house, this is the cottage on the left. The room is tastefully decorated, featuring a queen bed with wooden frame and matching bedside tables. There is closet space, a courtyard-facing window, and the en suite has a combo bath-shower.
Cottage 2
The second cottage, or bedroom 6, is accessed via a private entrance in the courtyard, positioned opposite the other courtyard cottage. The room features a queen bed and closet space with clothing hangers, as well as en suite bathroom with a shower. There is also a window with a view of the courtyard.
Cottage 3
The third cottage has a private entrance at the front of the house. We call it the bachelor's room, as it's perfect for those who like to stay out later than the rest of the party. The room features a queen bed and closet space with clothing hangers and shelves. Like the other cottages, the room has its own en suite bathroom with a shower.
OUTDOOR & ENTERTAINMENT
Courtyard · Games Room
Courtyard
The enclosed courtyard has a new pergola, to create the perfect under cover braai area. There is enough outdoor seating for the whole family, and kids can play on the grass in the courtyard or enjoy the games room next to the braai area. The pool table in the games room can be converted into a dining table, if you prefer to dine closer to the braai. Braai utensils and wood are provided.

We often welcome pets at Cape Creek Cottage, and only ask that owners notify us in advance of any animal guests joining them. Guests must adhere to the estate rules regarding pets, and please keep their pets off the beds and furniture, as we have a couple allergies in the family.

Ben & Charlotte
Hi, I'm Charlotte. My husband, Ben, is originally from South Africa, and we now live in England, where I am originally from. We both love to travel and visit new places. With Ben having spend many holidays in Struisbaai as a child, buying a holiday home there made perfect sense. We have three young kids, and try to visit South Africa as often as we can, as the kids absolutely love it at Cape Creek.
We bought Cape Creek Cottage back in 2020. After a full renovation, including the construction of 2 additional cottages and expanding the kitchen, we'd upgraded Cape Creek from a 4 bedroom to a 7 bedroom home with a fully equipped kitchen, featuring integrated appliances.
